Rooftops: TinySkate Spot Guide

Leap roof to roof. Mind the gaps.

Rooftops takes you across the city at night under a big moon: tar-paper roofs, water towers, antennas, AC units and neon. It needs 14 stars. Between the buildings are gaps, with little kickers at the roof edges and a water tower's pipe to grind.

The three goals

Every TinySkate spot has three goals. Each goal you complete earns a star, and stars unlock the next spot. Rooftops is spot 7 of 9 and unlocks at 14 stars.

What's in the spot

• The roof gaps. Pop at the edge, every time.
• AC units and the pipe. Things to grind and ollie between gaps.
• Edge kickers. Small ramps at the roof edges that help you over.

Tips

• Miss a gap and you start again a good way back from the edge, and your combo is gone. Learn the gaps first and add tricks later. Pump for speed on every roof before the edge.
• The 3,000 combo comes from linking a gap trick into the pipe grind: flip over the gap, land in a grind, switch grinds once or twice, and manual to the next edge.
• A pop shove-it with a melon grab (right arrow, then D) is quick to finish and scores well over a gap.
